76ers beat Raptors in Game 6 with Joel Embiid's 33 points

The 76ers defeated the Raptors 132–97 in Game 6 of the first-round series on Thursday night.

In the second round, Philly faces Miami. The Heat won in five games.

Tyrese Maxey had 25 points (5-for-12 from three), and Tobias Harris had 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead the 76ers past the Raptors in a rout.

Danny Green had 12 points and 4 treys as the Sixers shot 16 for 40 from deep. The Raptors shot 7-for-35 from three-point range.

Toronto's Chris Boucher had 25 points and 10 rebounds, Pascal Siakam had 24, Gary Trent Jr. had 19 and Scottie Barnes 18. Toronto lost in the first round for the first time since 2015.

T.O. lacked All-Star guard Fred VanVleet He missed his second straight game due to a hip flexor strain.

Precious Achiuwa had 17 points in Game 5, but only one on Thursday, a free throw in the fourth. Late third-quarter dunk by Achiuwa was disallowed due to timeout. He went 1-7 and scored three.
