Ed Sheeran has released the conceptual official video for his song 2step feat. Lil Baby, which is from from his multi-platinum album 2021.
Artist has expressed his gratitude for having shot the music video in Kyiv, Ukraine, prior to the country's 'devastating acts of violence,' which occurred after Russian troops invaded the country.
Ed has also vowed to donate 2Step's YouTube revenues to the DEC's Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, stating, "I stand with Ukraine."
The music video transitions through sleek choreography as Ed, Lil Baby, and their crew dance across a metropolis, directed by Henry Scholfield (Stormzy 'Vossi Bop').
'I filmed the video for 2step in the city of Kyiv, Ukraine before the horrible acts of violence happened,' Ed remarked about his experience.
'It was my first visit to the country, and everyone from the production staff to the many individuals I met on my days off made me feel very welcome.'
'Ukraine is a great and resilient nation, and I'm glad for the opportunity to film my video there.'
'I support Ukraine, and I will donate my record earnings from the video's YouTube streams to the DEC's Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal x' he said.
The Bad Habits singer previously hosted a charity performance for Ukraine with Camila Cabello and Emeli Sande, generating over £13.4 million for the war-torn country.
Ed won his copyright court challenge, with a judge ruling that his smash song Shape Of You was not a rip-off of Grime musician Sami Switch's song.
A judge dismissed a Grime artist's claim that Ed plagiarised his 2015 song Oh Why in the 2017 song Shape of You in the verdict.
Sheeran 'never knowingly nor unconsciously' stole a term, according to Mr Justice Zacaroli.
