Jesus restores hosts' lead in crunch Premier League title showdown
Manchester City and Liverpool traded early goals before Gabriel Jesus put the leaders ahead before the break.
An early goal from Kevin De Bruyne was cancelled out seven minutes later by Diogo Jota at the Etihad Stadium.
Jesus scored his first Premier League goal since September in the 37th minute, escaping the Liverpool offside trap.
With eight games left, Pep Guardiola's side leads Jurgen Klopp's by a point.
That was 45 minutes of glorious, nerve-shredding mayhem. City should be ahead and may regret it.
Although Guardiola's side hasn't lost this season, Jota's equaliser showed Liverpool are a different beast.
The champions have been far superior, but this is a game that Liverpool should enjoy.
