Wendy's Just Launched Two Major Summer Menu Items
Wendy's just added two new menu items, including its first new flavour in three years. It's perfect time as summer heats up.
The burger company has added the Strawberry Frosty, albeit temporarily. New dessert joins Summer Strawberry Chicken Salad.
Strawberry Frosty will replace vanilla Frosty in all U.S. locations.
Before its debut, the Strawberry Frosty was popular in Canada and Ohio. In May, an unauthenticated business document surfaced on Reddit indicating the item's June release.
"We're always listening to our fans, so adding the Strawberry Frosty was a no-brainer," said Wendy's chief marketing officer Carl Loredo.
While some of our rivals are currently fixing their ice cream equipment, Wendy's has a new strawberry delight.
Strawberry, Applewood smoked bacon, and grilled chicken are served over spring greens with an Italian cheese blend, candied almonds, and Champagne vinaigrette.
Small Wendy's Strawberry Frostys are $1.89 and Summer Strawberry Chicken Salads are $7.99.
Wendy's is providing a free small French fry when you buy a summer salad through the app through July 3.
